Pandari

After about 2 hours we made it to the first village, Pandari. A lot has changed from our visit from 15 years ago. There's a whole new edition that includes a western style toilet (thank sweet baby Jesus and Tom Cruise). We went around touring the village and petting the goats and stray dogs.

We head back to the house and we get fed one of our 3 three FULL meals of the day. Afterwards we took a little nap and then it was time for the next meal. After that meal we sat around talking and meeting with various family members and neighbors. Before dinner time, my wife's cousin wanted to take me into town to "get water". We drive for about 30-40 minutes and arrive in a random small town. We get out of the bus and he takes me to a liquor store and had me pick my drink. I chose Kingfisher and he and his friends chose Black Dog Scotch and a bottle of red wine. We then got back in the bus and drove down to a roadside restaurant and he had me order chicken since the village was VEG only he wanted me to eat some meat before heading back. After the meal we went back to the village and I decided bedtime was for me and crashed. Apparently dinner was ate around 10:30 PM and a bunch other things happened but I was passed out.

Tomorrow Silauda
