Akshay's Phone is Stolen in Chandni Chowk!!!

After the Red Fort we made our way to Chandni Chowk. It is massively crowded and very big so based on that our driver arranged for bicycle rickshaws to take us. There were ten of us so we hired 5 of them for 350 rupees a piece to take us to all the areas and back. I have never seen so many people in one area at one time!! It was madness! Our drivers kept telling us to keep our hands on our bags and pockets as when it's this crowded things tend to disappear. We rod up to the spice portion and got out and purchased a few items and then headed off to the saree area. As we made it passed the saree area traffic got so bad our drivers essentially gave up and we turned around. Have no idea where they were taking us or what we missed but no matter we were done since of how crowded it was.

As we are making it back my rickshaw which had me and my daughter were in the lead. As we were riding along the crowd started going crazy. We didn't quite know what was going on but we both knew someone was in trouble. We were at a dead stop and the driver of my wife and son's rickshaw ran up and said something to my driver who acknowledged it and kept riding slowly. Turns out someone had slipped in from the back of the rickshaw between my son and wife and swiped my son's phone who noticed it immediately and jumped off and yelled someone stole my phone. My wife made him stay but the driver jumped off yelled that guy stole a phone and crowd justice took over. I didn't see the guy but my wife said they beat him up so bad that she felt sorry for the guy but GOT THE PHONE BACK!! It's good to know that the locals are not willing to put up with that type of behavior and handle things themselves.

Here are some pictures and video of the area to show how crazy it was.

After all the excitement we went back to vehicle and had a nice dinner and went to our shitty beds, which was a little less so since we had them switched mattresses.
